Makia LabsAI on Monday Morning
Makia Labs community program

Become a certified AI adoption facilitator

Anyone can play the deck. Facilitators run it for other people's teams — and get certified, trained and listed by Makia Labs. Ambassadors take it further: they host in public, mentor new facilitators, and shape what we build next.

The credential is issued by Makia Labs ↗, the consultancy behind the MAKIA method and the AI on Monday Morning playbook. The game is open and community-run; the certification carries their name and their review.

Open applications start Monday 7 September.

Until then 25 founding facilitators run it first — invite only. Got a code? Claim your seat. Everyone else: apply below and we answer in launch week.

The path

From playing it once to leading a chapter

Each step is earned by doing the work, not by buying a badge. You can stop at any step — the deck stays free either way.

  1. 01

    Player

You have played the deck. You know the five MAKIA phases and you have made real decisions with a real team.

    How you earn it
    • Play a full session with at least three people
    • Write down what your team decided in each phase
    • Publish your Adoption Journey link
    What you get

    • The printable A4 worksheet
    • A shareable journey card for your network
  2. 02

    • Complete the player step and apply below
    • Attend one 90-minute live calibration with a Makia coach
    • Submit one facilitated session summary for review

    • Listing in the public facilitator directory

    Community Ambassador

You grow the practice in your city or industry. You host sessions in public, bring new facilitators in, and shape the next version of the deck.

    • Host four public or community sessions a year
    • Mentor two new facilitators through certification
    What you get
    • Co-branded event kit and printed decks

The deal

What we ask in return

Run it honestly

Use the method as designed: five phases, real decisions, named owners. No slideware version.

Report what happened

One short session summary per workshop — what worked, what stalled, what you changed.

Credit the source

Keep the Makia Labs mark on the deck and link back when you write or speak about it.

Bring someone with you

Every ambassador mentors two new facilitators a year. That is how the community compounds.

Questions

Before you apply

Does the certification cost anything?

The deck, the worksheet and the player step are free forever. Certification is free for facilitators who run sessions inside their own organisation; ambassadors who run paid workshops share a small percentage of revenue instead of paying a fee.

Do I need to be a consultant or a coach?

No. Most certified facilitators are product leads, designers, ops managers and internal change makers. What we look at is whether your team left the room with owned decisions, not your job title.

How long does review take?

We read applications in weekly batches and reply within ten working days. Calibration calls run twice a month, in European and American time zones.

Can my whole team get certified?

Yes. Apply individually and mention the organisation — we group applicants from the same company into a single cohort so you calibrate together.
