Your session — the cards you pick, your phase notes, your timer, your sound and haptics preferences — is stored in your browser's local storage. It never reaches our servers unless you deliberately publish or share it. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, and we cannot recover it for you.

• Email address and name — only when you ask for the worksheet, the playbook excerpt, a live room seat, or apply as a facilitator. Legal basis: your consent. Used to send you that thing and occasional related updates.
• Published journeys — if you tick the consent box on the summary screen, your team name, industry, format and phase notes appear on the wall of journeys after human review. Any contact email you add stays private and is never shown.
• Team rooms — a display name you choose, a random device identifier, and the cards and notes your group produces. Visible only to people who hold the room code. Rooms expire automatically after 30 days.
• Facilitator applications — what you type in the form, kept to review your application and run the certification program.
• Audience measurement events — only if you accept the measurement category in the cookie banner. We record which step of the funnel was reached (format chosen, phase completed, summary viewed, template copied) together with a random identifier stored on your device. No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no IP-based profiling, and no third-party analytics provider. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

This site sets no cookies at all — no advertising cookies, no third-party tags, no Google Analytics, no social pixels. Everything is stored in your browser's local storage, by this site only, and falls into two groups.

• Strictly necessary (always on, exempt from consent) — your session and phase notes, the timer, your sound and haptics preferences, the temporary device identifier used inside team rooms, and the record of your cookie choice itself. Kept until you clear your browser data.
• Audience measurement (off until you accept) — a single random key, mm_anon, used to count funnel events in our own database. Kept for 13 months maximum, and deleted from your device the moment you refuse or withdraw.

The banner appears on your first visit and nothing optional runs before you answer. Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and you can reopen your choices whenever you want: manage cookie preferences, also linked in the footer of every page.

• Supabase — database and backend, hosted in the European Union.
• Lovable — application hosting and delivery.
• Resend — sending the emails you asked for.

These providers act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

• Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
• Team rooms and their contents: 30 days from creation, then automatically expired.
• Published journeys: until you ask us to remove yours.
• Facilitator applications: 24 months after the decision.
• Audience measurement events: 13 months, and only if you accepted them.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or object to processing at any time — one email to hello@makialabs.com is enough, and we answer within 30 days. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. If you believe we handled your data badly, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

This is a professional tool for teams and it is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially we update the date at the top of this page, and we tell subscribers by email when the change affects them.
